Knuckles leaves the arena having won rings, which he grants the scavengers in favor of helping him locate Sonic. Knuckles thus breaks out of his withholding chains, and forcefully punches the beast in it's face. The beast attacks Knuckles, which angers him. When everybody is told to place their bets, the battle ensues. Whilst hunting for Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles the Echidna is captured by scavengers and is brought to Casino Night, where a battle between a humongous beast and 'the last of the Echidnas' is announced.
